I’m raising £3,000 to support vulnerable families in Afghanistan, including Qudratullah’s family

Organised by Carrie Patsalis

Qudratullah’s family lost everything when he sadly died last year after living with type 1 diabetes.

He left behind his wife, his mother, and four very young children under the age of 8 in rural Afghanistan, where winter temperatures can fall as low as -25°C. Without him, they had no income and no way to support themselves.

Thanks to your kindness, we were able to step in immediately. Last year, you helped provide this family with food, warmth, and stability at the moment they needed it most. You also helped employ a young local female teacher, who now teaches the children English while also supporting her own vulnerable family.

But one year on, these children are still far too young for that support to end.

So I am asking for your help again — to keep them safe, fed, warm, and learning for another year.

I am also working with Revive Afghanistan now, an extraordinary frontline charity who regularly visit the family, check their living conditions, take them food shopping, and support the young teacher. Any extra money raised will go towards helping other vulnerable families in Afghanistan through Revive too.

Please donate if you can. Your support is giving this family not just survival, but dignity, care, and hope.
