Emergency Relief
Over 2205 killed, 3000 injured, and 5000 homes destroyed after 6.0 magnitude Earthquake shakes Afghanistan.
The 6.0 earthquake hit Nangarhar and Kunar provinces with major damage occurring in rural Mazar Valley and Nurgul districts in Kunar province.
Many villages have been completely destroyed, with many people still stuck under rubble, the roads in and out of the valley have been cleared but getting the injured out has been a mission due to the state of the roads. Some routes still remain inaccessible due to aftershocks blocking routes in.
There is a call from the locals asking aid workers from across the country to come and help get their loved ones from under the rubble.
Revive Afghanistan will be providing emergency aid to those impacted, we have our teams based in Kunar only 30 minutes away from where this all has occurred.
