Emergency Appeal: Support Families impacted by the recent bombing of a Rehabilitation Hospital in Kabul

We have created this Emergency Humanitarian fund as a way to provide support to innocent families who have been caught in the crossfire of the recent conflict between Afghanistan and Pakistan.

The Omid Addiction Treatment Hospital in Kabul, whose name means “Hope” was a vast rehabilitation centre for addicts, where thousands of mostly young Afghans battling addiction were brought for treatment.

On the night of 16 March 2026, at around 9pm local time, Pakistan conducted airstrikes and destroyed the hospital. Large sections of the facility, including five blocks of the rehabilitation compound, were left completely destroyed. Resulting in the killing of 408 innocent lives and 265 injured, this number is expected to rise as people succumb to their injuries.

The people killed in the brutal attack were people who were seeking a chance, many of whom were on the right path to recovery and would have been ready to leave for Eid only 2 days later.

This has left wives widowed, children orphaned and elderly parents now alone.

You can help us support those impacted with the following one off options:

  • Emergency Food Packs – Large Food Packs to provide families with a means to feed themselves during these tough times.
  • Orphan Support – Providing support based on the needs of those left alone
  • Widow Support – Providing Support to widows.

You can provide ongoing support to families:

  • Orphan Sponsorship
  • Widow Sponsorship
