Thank you to our monthly supporters who made these packages possible for orphans and widows.
Quick background:
With us successfully kicking off our Qurbani project for Eid ul Adha in 2022, we also wanted to bring some joy to orphans and widows, with the help of those who support us monthly, we managed to help Widows and Orphans with “Eid Packs” that contained Eid clothes, shoes, sweets, and other items.
Timeframe: June 2022 till July 2022
Revive Afghanistan NZ image of the Eid Gift Packs for Nangarhar and Kunar provinces
Our Eid Gift Packs cost only $35 per pack (NZD) and included the following items:
- Eid Dress for Widow
- Eid clothes for Orphans
- Shoes for Orphans
- Afghan Jandles for Widow
- Biscuits and sweets
With the funds available we managed to support 50 of these Eid Gift packs.
Going forward
We hope we can do this again for the upcoming Eids and bring joy to those kids who don’t experience an Eid like other kids around the world.
Our plans are to increase these “Eid Gift Packs” to other cities and provinces around Afghanistan.
