Afghanistan has been hit with multiple days of heavy rain which have resulted in flash floods impacting 20 of the 34 provinces across the country.
Initial report have indicated that over 2600 homes have been damaged/destroyed, over 1500 families impacted with hundreds injured and and 70 people have been confirmed dead.
Most impacted areas with casualties: Baghdis, Farah, Hilmand, Kabul, Kandahar, Laghman, Nangahar, Parwan, and Uruzgan
Impacted areas with flooding:
Central: Kabul, Kapisa, Panjshir, and Parwan Provinces
Eastern: Nangarhar, Kunar, Laghman and Nuristan
Northern: Faryab, and Samangan, Badakhshan and Kunduz
Southern: Hilmand, Kandahar, Nimroz and Uruzgan provinces
Western: Baghdis, Farah, Ghor and Herat
Due to decades of conflict Afghanistan is one of the least prepared countries when it comes to responding to extreme climate events.

- 100% Donation policy, we do not charge admin fees.
- Zakat Eligible Campaign as Families who have lost everything in these floods will have nothing.
